Carolina Transgender Society
Carolina Transgender Society (CTS) formerly KAPPA BETA, is a social and support group for people identifying as members of the "TRANSGENDER" community (i.e. crossdresser, transgender, transsexual, transvestite, etc.) and their families. Our membership is open to all members of the Transgender Community and their wives/husbands or significant others. We are a social and support group with the goal of helping our members accept and become comfortable with them self.

Charlotte Gender Alliance
Charlotte Gender Alliance is a monthly discussion group welcoming any adult who identifies as transgender or transsexual. This includes both male to female and female to male. No distinctions will be made as to racial, religious or sexual orientation. Diversity will not only be respected; it will be honored.

LOAFERS
LOAFERS is a social and support group for adult lesbians of any age that meets on the SECOND Friday of each month at 6:30pm at The LGBT Community Center of Charlotte. We meet monthly to discuss the needs of those in the group or other topics of interest. After the meeting (around 7:45), anyone interested can go out to eat (dutch) and socialize. OASIS
After numerous requests for a men’s support group, The LGBT Community Center of Charlotte is excited to present OASIS, a facilitated monthly gathering of gay, bisexual, and questioning men who Offer Affirming, Safe, Inclusive Space for one another. If you are ready to be real, be heard, and feel the support of other men on your unique journey toward freedom and authenticity, then come check us out!

StillOut Photography is an LGBT and friends photography club in Charlotte. StillOut meets regularly at The Community Center and always welcomes new members!

Charlotte Business Guild
The Charlotte Business Guild aims to establish and nurture a network of business contacts and friendships, encourage fellowship and support among business, professional and charitable pursuits, provide and promote positive role models in the Gay and Lesbian Community.

The Center at Lake Norman
The Center at Lake Norman provides individual, couples, family, and group counseling for people ages five and above. We offer counseling on issues of sexuality and sexual development.

Primetimers
General/monthly meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. A light supper is served. Guests are always welcome at general meetings. Speakers, films, interactive audience participation, Bingo games or other spotlighted activities follow the meal. Scheduled events include going out for a restaurant meal the second Tuesday and the fourth Thursday of each month, movie nights and matinees, picnics, weekend outings and trips, evenings at the theater, bowling, wine tastings, game nights, etc.

Carolina Bear Lodge
It is the mission of Carolina Bear Lodge to provide opportunities for its members to socialize in a safe hospitable setting, to project a positive image and increase awareness of the bear subculture: and to contribute to the betterment of the gay community and society as a whole. The Board and membership of Carolina Bear Lodge recognizes and supports the great diversity within the bear community. We also feel that it is important to present a positive image to the gay community and the community at large. For this reason the members and guests should be cognizant of the sensibilities of others.

Charlotte Tradesmen: Leather/Levi Club
We are a fellowship of individuals having a common character and interest, dedicated to the development and improvement of brotherhood. To accomplish this, The Tradesmen endeavor to promote better communication between individuals, and to promote and support charitable causes. The Tradesmen believe in the equality of brotherhood regardless of race, religion, national origin, or sexual preference.

Foundation for the Carolinas/Charlotte Lesbian and Gay Fund
The mission of the Charlotte Lesbian and Gay Fund is to cultivate one community that supports lesbian and gay individuals and families, with the belief that all people should be treated with equal respect and dignity in all facets of the community. It was created to positively impact the underfunding of nonprofit organizations serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The Fund award grants to organizations that support the LGBT community, as well as bridge building initiatives that seek to cultivate alliances and support with the non-gay community in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.

Chi Psi Omega Fraternity
The purpose of Chi Psi Omega is to promote equality and awareness in the LGBTQ community. Chi Psi Omega believes family is the cornerstone of our society. We strive to make a difference through community service outreach, promoting tolerance and understanding of the LGBTQ community, and ensuring the continuing education of our neighbors. This organization will allow dominant lesbian women to make a difference by providing a positive environment for each member to develop and share their talents for the greater good.

PFLAG Charlotte
PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a sociaty that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.
